half begun
by Ashley ~ February 16th, 2009So, it’s been a very long time since i’ve updated this. The past couple of weeks it’s sad to say but i’ve spent all of my free time reading a series of books lol. There are 27 books that I have read and I’m patiently waiting for a few more that finish up the whole series there were three different series that I read but they all go together just different people and stuff.
Today Corey and I have been married for half a year! It has flown by I cant even believe we are half way through our first year of marriage, kind of sad but kind of exciting. It’s soo much fun knowing that everyday I’m going to wake up and spend everyday with my best friend. Which is what we do have a lot of fun. We are soo silly together. I love it when our friends look at us and say “gross” or “married people” lol There has been a couple of times when I just get lost in his eyes and it’s like we are the only ones in the world which happened yesterday and I just realized how cool it is! It’s an amazing feeling knowing that you have the strongest bond that exist between two people, you cant get much closer than a husband and wife. Ha earlier Corey was reading a card that said “you’re future wifey mrs. ashley potter” and he looked at me and said “whoa you’re a mrs. can you believe that” so being married hasnt officially hit us all the way lol. I LOVE BEING MARRIED!! and he thinks he’s the lucky one pshh.
I work a lot now and i’m starting to pick up more hours, I started off at 3 days a week 6 hours a day, now i’m averaging 4 days a week 8-10 hours a day, it just depends now. I really like working there and all the people. It’s a great place to work and I honestly believe it was answer to my prayers. Corey has been busy with photography last weekend we spend 5 days at the beach at a photographers convention, we learned a lot and are ready to get this business started all the way. I love going to the request off book at work and asking off with the reason of photography it makes me smile.
Our first valentines day was great! I had to work 7-3 saturday morning so while I was out my sweet husband cleaned our house and made me dinner, I came home to find 6 roses on the table each rose represented each month that we have been married, and a clean house, I was excited. We took a nap, watched a movie, ate dinner, and played the wii, (which is what we do a lot now it’s so much fun). Oh I have to put this in here…he also made a website I dont agree with it but it’s sweet. http://coreylovesashleymore.com he is a nerd but a sweet one!
So that’s pretty much all that’s been happening the past couple of weeks. Thanks for reading!
