Special Thanks

by Corey ~ August 17th, 2008

Wow… we are finally married. It feels awesome! The big day went by smoothly and it was only possible because of all the help we had to make it that way. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came all the way up there to see the wedding… and I want to extend a special thanks to the following people:

Aunt Ann, Uncle Jeff, Kristen, Scott and Bryn: Thanks SOOO much for all the hard work you did on the food and setting up for the reception. Everything was perfect and I even better than I had expected. Thanks to Scott for being a master improv pianist (emphasis on the AN) and to Bryn for helping him out.

The moms (Nancy and Alice): Thanks for bringing the family together, working out the cabins… and of course for the financial help.

Best Men (Timmy and Jesh): You guys made the weekend 100 times better for me. I was so happy to be able to ask you to do something and KNOW that you would get it done and I wouldn’t have to worry. Jesh, thanks for taking my phone calls and keeping things in order. Timmy thanks for helping with the camp, keeping order (or giving orders), and thanks to you and Katie for singing! I really do realize even more how much you guys mean to me.

Maid of Honor: Ashley says you are the best maid of honor in the whole entire world. Thanks for keeping her from being bridezilla and taking charge when all the other women were FREAKING OUT.

Bridesmaids and Groomsmen (Sam, Katelyn, Steff, Hannah, Jake, Patrick, Caleb): You guys did EXACTLY what you were supposed to… and looked awesome doing it. Thanks for going through all the trouble of shopping, practicing, squishing into cabins, driving a bazillion miles, and helpin out with everything else.

Ushers (Ben, Paul, Josh, Mark): Thanks for being there to help let everybody know what to do… and rush around to do various tasks. Ben… thanks for bringing the sound equipment and knowing how to set up everything technical.

Videographer: Keith… I am SOOO excited to see the video. Thanks for being flexible last minute and pulling everything off. http://www.jkdixonphotography.com

Photographer: Patty… I’m so glad you could come and photograph our wedding. It was great to be able to work with you from the client end ;). I cant wait to see those pictures! Cristina, thanks for coming to the wedding and being willing to help Patty with the pictures! http://www.hallmanphoto.com

These are some of my pictures that I took on my small none awesome camera lol I try to be a cool photographer…it’s kinda hard with my baby camera…soon I will have an awesome camera just like corey :) anyways enjoy!

The day before we left we had a newbie (rising freshmen) verses oldie (already in college) kick ball game for our college sunday school class (oldies won by the way) and corey was running to third base, not even thinking that he was wearing shorts, slid to be safe (which he was) and tore up his left leg as you can see.
